We recently carried out a full damp proofing and re-plastering job at a property in Bishop Monkton. The lower sections of the walls had suffered from rising damp, and we took the necessary steps to permanently resolve the issue.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Affected plaster and damaged material removed back to brick
- Chemical damp-proof course (DPC) injected to prevent further moisture ingress
- Waterproof membrane system installed across all exposed wall areas
- Area fully boarded and two-coat skimmed for a clean, modern finish
- Final prep left the room ready for decorating
